since my husband had his heart attack his care and treatment from the nurses, Sarah and Klaire, and the doctors Drs Lawes, Phelan, and Grist (since left) could not be better. As his carer I couldn't have wished for more.

Dr Foster is excellent on all counts - very helpful, understanding and fully involves one in making decisions The nurses also are wonderful - professional, helpful and friendly. A few of the receptionists are occasionally less than helpful or friendly - can be abrupt, sometimes patronising, and leave one waiting at the desk while they attend to other things. It seems that some training is needed regarding how important empathy is - even where receptionists have to tell a patient an appointment can't be made when they want it, conveying genuine empathy and understanding of the patience's viewpoint would be helpful. Other than that, this is a great surgery.
